This monument was build in 1574. Important artists contributed in its construction: Palladio, Sansovino, and Tiziano. It is nowadays used as Town Hall. The Loggia is the symbol of city, was under construction from 1492. In 1575 a fire destroyed the dome. The project of the square was decided in the first half of the 15th centuary by the new Venetian governans of the town.
